It started during New York Fashion week when Rodarte’s models dawned tribal style body paint on their arms as they walked the runway. Last month in Italian Vogue, photographer David Sim’s published an amazing editorial spread focused on designer clothing and tribal art.
Most recently, Shakira put out a new video where she and her dancers are also following the tribal trend. This is a great example to show how much fashion influences all aspects of the media.
