Going back to work after any time off is never easy.. even if you like your job. Whatever the weekend threw at you, you will be ready to face Monday head on with just a few simple tricks:
Get a Good Night’s Sleep!
First and foremost, enough sleep will give you a clear head and make you look well-rested (without having to fake it). Experts recommend getting at least 8 hours. Your body, mind and soul and will be ready for whatever you throw at it tomorrow, if you get enough sleep tonight.
Try a Bright Lipstick
Bright colors are fun and can be the perfect pick me up to a not so welcomed early morning. If you’re heading to the office, school or set, throwing on a colorful lipstick in the morning will make you look put together and awake with minimal effort.
Add A Little Glow
Dewy skin can make you look healthy and youthful, so if your skin is looking dull after one too many cocktails this weekend, do some exfoliating and try a hydration mask on Sunday night. You’ll wake up with a natural glow which automatically makes you look fresh. If you need some extra sheen, add a pearly highlighter ( I like NARS Multiple in Copacabana or Smashbox Artificial Light) to the tops of your cheekbones and down the bridge of your nose.
Pamper your Peepers
If you’re tired or hungover, your eyes will give it away. Dab on a de-puffing eye cream (I like Kiehls), curl your lashes and apply several coats of mascara. Take it one step further by lining your waterline with a cream colored eyeliner, which will brighten your eyes and fake that coveted, well-rested look.
