Key makeup artist, Lucia Pieroni explained her reasoning for dotting model’s under eyes with black circles, and it makes a lot of sense. From the audience, the dots give an eye opening effect, making the models look a bit like “startled dolls.” In addition to the circles, she also applied many coats of Clé De Peau Beaute mascara on the upper and lower eyelashes, grouping them together in clusters.
