Get the Look: Victoria Secret Angel

The Victoria Secret Fashion Show took place in New York City last night, and as usual the ladies looked flawless, fresh and gorgeous.

1. Start out with clean, moisturized skin. This look is very fresh, so prepping your skin is essential to making the most of your makeup. Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentrate is a great moisturizer and gives a plumped, glowy look to your skin.

2. Apply a light to medium coverage foundation to the center of your face and blend outward with a duo fiber brush. To achieve that hint of dewiness, mix a drop or two liquid highlighter into your foundation before applying. I love Armani Fluid Sheers.

3. Apply a powdered highlighter to your cheekbones, forehead and down the center of your nose. NARS Albatross or MAC’s Mineralized Skinfinishes are perfect for this.

4. Dust a soft pink blush on the apples of your cheeks.

5. The eyes are smokey, but natural. Apply a soft brown or grey shadow along your crease to add definition. Blend well. Then take a pearly champagne eyeshadow and tap it onto your eyelid, avoiding going all the way up into your crease.

6. Take a small, tapered eyeshadow brush and apply the same champagne shadow along your lower lash line, focusing more toward the inner corners of your eyes. This opens up the eye area making your eyes appear larger and brighter.

7.  With a grey or brown pencil eyeliner, lightly line the top and bottom of your eyes. Then smudge the liner with a smudger brush to create softness. We don’t want harsh lines.

8. Curl your lashes and apply several coats of black, volumizing mascara. My go to is L’Oreal Voluminous.

9. Apply several individual false lashes along your lash line. I like to alternate with different sized individuals to make the lashes look more natural.

10. Top it all off with a light pink gloss on your lips. Try NARS lipgloss in “Frisky Summer” or Lancome’s Juicy Tube in “Miracle”
