Blue eyeliner continued to be a popular choice among makeup artists at the Autumn/Winter 2014 fashion week. I really loved the cobalt blue winger liner at Kenzo, achieved using MAC’s Chromaline in Marine Blue. Since the shows, Celebrities have already taken this trend and run with it, and blue liner seems to be popping up just about everywhere.

How to Wear Blue Eyeliner:
Blue is not usually a woman’s first choice when reaching for eyeliner, but the celebrities above demonstrate how wearable and fun this unexpected pop of color can be. The key for a is to keep it subtle and center the rest of your makeup around the look. Here are a few easy ways to incorporate the blue liner trend into your makeup routine:
-Start with navy. It’s close to black so you won’t feel too out of your comfort zone.
-Line your waterline with a royal or aquatic blue (see Cara Delevingne at Giles above).
-Start with simple, regular black cat eye and then draw a thin blue line right on top with gel or liquid liner.
