I let my NARS Dual Intensity Blush sit in my kit for months because it’s so pretty, I couldn’t bring myself to use it!
Panic is a part of NARS Dual Intensity range which you can use either wet or dry. I prefer to use these blushes dry because I find they get a little clumpy when wet. They have a shimmer to them (not glittery) which gives the cheek dimension and glow. The finish is very luminous and it looks natural on the skin. Panic is the only color I own, but some of the other shades in the line look like they could even be used as a highlight instead of a blush.
Works on a Variety of Skintones
I originally bought the NARS Dual Intensity Blush in Panic to use on deeper skinned clients but I’ve found that it can work on almost any skin tone because not as intensely pigmented as I thought it would be. While the colors look intimidatingly bright in the package, they have the ability to go on very sheer if you use a light hand and a fluffy brush. You can also build it up to get more color payoff and pigmentation.
For women of color, I’d use a more dense blush to apply it so you can capitalize on the pigment. The slight luminosity of the blush gives off a natural glow that doesn’t look dusty.
