Review: Cozzette Brushes

I have recently begun replacing the brushes in my kit with higher quality versions, and I’ve had my eye on Cozzette brushes for awhile after testing them at one of the makeup shows. During the Black Friday madness, I found this 8 piece Vitality set selling for 50% off (!) and I didn’t even need to camp in a tent for 6 days in order to pick it up.

This brand is amazing you guys. Personally, it’s everything I could want in a company from superior quality, to sustainability to compassion to the underlying messages of peace and co-creation, I love Cozzette.

The Best Cruelty Free Brushes I’ve Used

Cozzette brushes are 100% cruelty free and vegan as only uses synthetic hair is used. He has really set the bar high when it comes to synthetics because these are some of the softest, most beautiful brushes I own. The quality is superb. If you think you need animal hair to get an amazing brush, try these and get back to me. Another great thing about owning synthetic brushes is that they can be used with liquids or powders, giving you tons of creative freedom.  I haven’t owned them long enough to be able to speak on their longevity but I haven’t noticed any shedding whatsoever and they’ve been in heavy rotation in my kit. Out of the 8 that I bought, my current favorites are the Diamond Blender (s120) and the Round Foundation Brush (p340). Review: Cozzette Brushes - Vitality Collection

Sustainable

Cozzette brush handles are finished with 100% renewable resource solid wood handles that come from an FSC certified supplier. Sustainability is extremely important to me and after spending some time in the Amazon last year, witnessing the devastating effects of logging first-hand, this is music to my ears. An FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification gives you as a consumer peace of mind that the wood is coming from a forest that is managed responsibly thus  protecting ecosystems, respecting native cultures and economies and preventing illegal logging. Not only are the handles made from sustainable wood but they’re dipped in purple to “represent peace, the feeling of abundance and to honor all the people, plants and animals on the planet.” How amazing is this?? Now I’m a little jealous because my handles are red and I want peace brushes haha.

Makeup Artist Created, Tested and Used

Roque Cozzette is a makeup artist himself and his products are inspired by the makeup artist community. I love products created by makeup artists because they, more than anyone, know exactly what we need to do our jobs well. From his website “We feel our way through the creative process allowing the highest of intentions to always surpass any industry standard.” He also offers a 30% discount for professionals.

Cozzette brushes are fantastic and I will definitely be stocking up and replacing many of the current brushes in my kit with this brand.

I appreciate your unpaid opinion as I simply bypass bloggers who have products given to them for review.
I am presently looking at Cozette brushes to invest in as I’ve not heard of them before so thank you for taking the time to share your experiences with them.
