1. Keynote Speaker Kristofer Buckle
Celebrity makeup artist, Kristofer Buckle will be speaking tomorrow on a “Career in Makeup.” Kristofer has worked with some of the biggest celebrities out there such as Renee Zellweger, Demi Moore, Salma Hayek and of course Christina Aguilera.
Yves Saint Laurent is FINALLY launching their Pro Makeup Artist program and will be at the show this year giving fantastic discounts. Dreams do come true.
3. Keynote Speaker Patti Dubroff
Patti Dubroff is one of my favorite makeup artists and I am so excited to see her speak this year! She will be discussing her career and demonstrating techniques that have made her an A-list artist.
4. OCC Booth
Arguably, the most popular booth at the show . If you want dibs on OCC‘s spring line (6 new lip tar, 6 nail laquers and 5 loose color concentrates), you better get there early.
5. Keynote Speaker Donald Simrock
An amazing artist as well as the Beauty Editor for Flaunt magazine, Donald Simrock will be speaking about building your career for an editorial market.
6. Kevyn Aucoin Booth
Like YSL, Kevyn Aucoin will also be at the show for the first time this year, launching their Pro Artist Program as well as giving away amazing discounts. Rumor has it that Sensual Skin Enhancers will be going for $10-25 (as opposed to $60!) and eyelash curlers for $5-10. SO excited.
7. Women in the Industry Panel
This panel will feature Joanna Schlip, Danessa Myricks, Eve Pearl, Eugenia Weston and Crystal Wright as they talk their careers and the how they have successfully built a name for themselves in an industry created by men.
8. Adoro Booth
$1 lashes. Enough said. These lashes are actually really good quality too, as opposed to those shitty boxes of lashes selling at IMATS last year.
9. Keynote Speaker AJ Crimson
AJ Crimson has worked with celebrities such as Fergie, Missy Elliot, Mya, Hillary Duff and Amerie. He will be speaking about the art of special event makeup, and how you can take your skills to the next level.
10. Inglot Booth
I discovered Inglot at The Makeup Show last year and fell in love with some of their products. I use their cream blush and lip paints ALL the time.
